Search

You can use the search bar to easily find your emails, documents, chat messages, calendar events, contacts, documents, tasks, and notes in IceWarp services.

Emails

  • Type the search request in the search bar and specify the part of the email where to search (From, To, Subject, etc.) or click Enter to search in all email fields. The search engine looks for your request in sender, recipient, subject fields and the text of the email body.

  • The search is performed in the current folder by default. To search in all folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc.), check Search in All Folders .

  • You can also find all emails with attachments if you check Has attachment check-box.

TeamChat

  • To see all messages from a specific sender, type the name and click From:. You can also filter out messages by the date of delivery.

  • Click After to see all messages after the selected date.

  • Click Before to filter all messages before the selected date.

Calendars

  • Find all events that contain your search request in Title, Description, Location

  • You can filter out the events by tag and date of the event.

Contacts

  • Type the request and specify where to search, in (Name, Email, Company, Department or Note). You can also click Enter to search in all fields.

  • Check Has phone to filter out all contacts with the phone number.

Documents

  • You can search for the request in Title, Description, or Tag of the document. Type your request in the search bar and click Enter or select a Tag.

  • You can also filter documents by date of the last modification, click After / Before, and select the date.

Tasks

  • Type your request and specify where to search, in Title and Description field.

  • You can also filter tasks by the date and tag.

Notes

  • Search engine looks for your request in Title and Description of a note.

  • You can also filter notes by Tag.

Create Search Folder

The search folder helps to store your search preferences and provide faster access to your search results.

  1. Go to the IceWarp service (Mail, Contacts, Notes, Tasks, Documents) where you want to create a search folder.

  2. Right-click your account name in the folder tree and select Create new search folder . All items that match the search criteria are placed into this folder.

Tags Management

The tags provide more efficient search within all folders of a selected IceWarp service (Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Tasks, Documents). You can set one or more tags for an item.

  • To define a tag, open the item in preview mode or a separate dialog, click and enter the name of the new tag. If the tag already exists, select it from the list of suggestions.

  • To remove the tag, click it and select Remove Tag.

Tip: You can also define a tag when creating a new item.
  • To search by the tags, click the search bar and select the tag from the list.
